Why am I suddenly receiving Vipps eFaktura (eInvoice) from a company?

Can I stop receiving Vipps eInvoice

If you do not wish to receive eInvoices in Vipps, you can turn this off in the Vipps app, menu option "Receive invoices in Vipps". You will continue to receive eInvoices in DNB online bank.

Please note that the "on/off" button in "Receive invoices in Vipps" operates independently of the "on/off" button in "Always Vipps eInvoice" under "eInvoice in online bank and apps". This means that if you turn off the first button, you will only stop receiving invoice notifications in the Vipps app, but you will still be on "Vipps eInvoice" or "Always eInvoice". To turn off the latter, you must go in and turn off "Always Vipps eInvoice" separately.

You will then also not receive eInvoice requests in DNB online bank/mobile bank or at any other banks, unless you have entered into a specific eInvoice agreement with the provider/company.

Price and terms

I am still receiving paper invoices. I thought these would come as eInvoice?

By activating Vipps eInvoice, you do not need to enter into an agreement with each company you receive invoices from, but this requires that the companies offer "Always eInvoice". You will receive eInvoices automatically and do not need to register the agreement with the company. Not all companies currently offer "Always eInvoice", so some invoices will still arrive on paper.

If the paper invoice is paid in the online bank, an automatic agreement registration will be sent so that the next invoice from the same issuer arrives automatically.

Do I have to "say yes to all" to use Vipps eInvoice

By activating "Yes please to all", you enable automatic receipt of eInvoices from all suppliers, both in the online bank and in Vipps. This setting can be activated as "Always eInvoice" in the online bank or "Vipps eInvoice" in the Vipps app.

“Accept all” is the same as activating “Always eFaktura (eInvoice)” in the online bank, or “Vipps eFaktura (eInvoice)” in Vipps. In practice, these are different terms for exactly the same function. You can activate and deactivate this feature either in DNB’s online bank, other online banks or in Vipps.

If you disable the feature in one platform, you will be able to enter into agreements with specific eFaktura (eInvoice) providers as before.
