How are exchange rates determined?
The exchange rate that will be used for a payment transaction depends on the time of day the exchange is carried out.
The exchange rates listed in our daily rate lists show the exchange rates for the purchase and sale of currency for international payment transactions, where the exchange rate for the transaction is set at approximately 09:00. For exchanges at any other time, the exchange rates listed in a day's exchange rate list should only be considered approximate because the rates change continuously throughout the day.
