Historical currency rates

For various reasons, you may need to find out approximately what the exchange rate of a currency was against the Norwegian krone in a specific year in the past. You can find that here. At the same time, exchange rates vary continuously throughout the day, so the historical rates you will find below are a historical still. The exchange rates in the tables are mid-rates from DNB Carnegie set at approximately 09:00 each day of the respective years.

The exchange rates listed in our daily rate lists show the exchange rates for the purchase and sale of currency for international payment transactions, where the exchange rate for the transaction is set at approximately 09:00. For exchanges at any other time, the exchange rates listed in a day's exchange rate list should only be considered approximate because the rates change continuously throughout the day.
