Frequently asked questions about Morsom Sparing

Are there any withdrawal limits?

There are no separate withdrawal limit rules for Morsom Sparing.

Is there a limit to the amount when paying bills or transferring when using a card?

All savings will be made in whole kroner, we have no minimum amount at rounding off, but we check that there is available amount cover before the savings is carried out. The minimum fixed amount is set at NOK 2 per incident. The impulse saving has a limit of NOK 10,000, to reduce the number of wrong savings.

Is a suggested amount shown when you enter the invitation code?

When you are invited, the person who is the invitee (the administrator) will set a total savings target amount and this is divided into the number that have been invited. The administrator can change this during the saving process.

Can I track how much my friends have saved?

Yes, you will see all of the transactions for the savings goal to the right of the Morsom Sparing page.

How do I complete the savings goal?

You end the savings target by entering the savings target, select the gear menu and select End savings target. In shared savings goals, only the administrator has the opportunity to end/stop the savings goal. You can easily choose to withdraw from a joint savings goal. You do this by selecting the gear menu that is next to you as a participant in a shared savings goal, and choose End participation.

Will transactions with a Mastercard generate savings?

No, only transactions on cards linked to an account can generate savings.

I’m an Intro customer, can I use Morsom Sparing?
  • If you are under 18 years of age, you must have an Intro Savings Account before you can set up Morsom Sparing (fun saving schemes).
  • Young people aged 15-18 can even open Intro Sparekonto themselves in the online bank.
  • If you are under 15 years of age, your guardian will set up your account in the online bank.
Do friends you invite have to have a DNB account?

Your friends don’t need to be customers in order to be invited, but to participate in Morsom Sparing they need to have a savings account in DNB. If the friends you’re inviting don’t have it from before, they can easily get it by logging in with BankID from another bank, following the instructions and setting up a savings account in Morsom Sparing.

Can you change the savings goal as you go?

The savings target can be changed along the way. You do this by going into the savings target itself, selecting the gear menu by the savings target name, and making the change you want. In the joint savings target, only the administrator (the person who created the savings target) can change.

Will all of my savings goals receive money every time I use my card?

If all the savings targets have savings by using cards activated, they will. That is, if you have chosen to save NOK 2 for 3 savings goals when using a card, every time you use the card you will save NOK 6.

Can I invite as many friends as I want?

There is no limit to how many people you can invite to take part in the savings goal.

What if there are several cards connected to the current account selected?

All cards connected to the account will generate savings.

Do cash machine withdrawals generate savings?

No, they do not.

What happens if the savings goal account is closed?

All savings rules linked to the account will then be deleted. The customer must make sure they complete their savings goal.
