Our virtual card, the DNB Purchasing account, is designed for anyone who shops online for your business. Whether you buy Facebook ads, licenses, office supplies, airline tickets, rent a car or more, this card will simplify the administration around the purchases.

It’s not a physical card, but only the necessary card information you need to make a purchase. You’ll find this information easily accessible in the Corporate Card app, so there’s no need to make any notes. It’s both simple and safe.

How it works

The account is linked to the company, not a single employee. Each account needs an administrator who is responsible for approving purchases etc. If this person leaves or changes roles, the administrator can easily be replaced. This ensures that all ongoing purchases continue as before, without extra administration.

  • Each virtual card is linked to a separate account, which makes accounting easy. You can therefore have several cards, for example to different departments or purchasing categories.
  • All purchases are collected on one invoice. The invoice can be delivered electronically to the company’s financial system.
  • Manage cards in Card Admin: Get a full overview of your accounts, download PDF invoices and get real-time data for consumption and balances.
  • No fixed upper purchase limit.

The administrator uses the Corporate Card app to approve purchases when necessary. This is made easy with, for example, Face ID.

What is the Card Administrator and how can I get access?

Card admin is an online portal that gives the company a full overview of their card agreement. The company decides who will have access to the Card Manager (administrator) and can have multiple administrators on an appointment. The card admin is free of charge and will be automatically posted when you apply for the company’s first card.

How can I switch administrators in the Card Admin?

To switch administrators in the Card Admin, fill out the application form with information about the new administrator. Then send the form to: support@corporatemastercard.no

What can I do in the Card Admin?

Here are some of the features you can access when you have cards with corporate responsibility:

  • Full overview of all card holders, including inactive cards
  • Transaction overview with access to details such as exchange rate
  • Invoices with a 12-month history and payment status
  • Invoices can also be downloaded in PDF and exported to Excel
  • Incoming payments
  • See receipts, uploaded by cardholder in the app
  • Manage cards and accounts (lock out cards, order PINs, finish cards)
  • Simply apply for one or more cards
  • Order a new card if, for example, the card is lost
  • The administrator can log in with BankID
How can you remove the administrator and/or terminate the agreement on Card Admin?

How do I make purchases online?

When you have ordered a Purchasing Account, you will get access to the following card information in the Corporate Card app (and by regular post):

  • Card number
  • Expiry date
  • Security code (CVV2 code)

You’ll need this card information to make purchases online.

When a purchase needs to be verified/confirmed, this is done in the Corporate card app. You can download the Corporate Card app from the App Store or Google Play.

What does corporate liability mean?

The account is issued with corporate liability:

  • The company undergoes a credit check and is responsible for paying the invoice
  • requires 3 years of accounts, or a guarantee from the parent company in Norway
  • It’s a requirement that the company doesn’t have any payment remarks
How can you change the Purchasing account administrator?

You can easily change the Purchasing account administrator by filling in the form below. It is important that a person with signature rights signs on behalf of the company. It should then be returned to the address provided at the bottom of the form.

Can I receive eFaktura (eInvoice) in EHF format?

Yes. If you would like to receive eFaktura (eInvoice) in EHF format, you can send an email to support@corporatemastercard.no , providing the company’s organisation number and contact information. Please write “Order eFaktura (eInvoice) in EHF format” in the subject line.

What do flexible payment times and interest free credit mean?

A purchasing account is flexible and can be customised to your business’s needs. This also applies to the payment terms.

The invoice comes with 10 days’ payment terms as standard. This gives you interest-free credit for up to 40 days on purchases made at the beginning of the period.

If longer payment terms are needed, an extra 10 days can be applied for at an additional cost.

How can I get a summary of my purchases?

There are two different ways to get a purchase summary:

  1. The person who regularly uses a Purchasing Account to make purchases online (account administrator) will have been sent an alternative ID.
    Log in to your “My Corporate Mastercard” (link) and use an alternative ID instead of a national identity number. This service only shows transactions on the card that are managed by the administrator.
  2. The administrator of a Purchasing Account downloads the Corporate Card app and logs in.
  3. A person with signature rights in the company can apply for Kortadmin (Card admin), a portal that shows all virtual and physical cards in the company. A Kortadmin administrator will be appointed who then has authorisation to see, change and apply for cards on behalf of the company.

What is a Purchasing account administrator?

The Purchasing account administrator is the person who makes online purchases on a daily basis and uses the Purchasing account as a form of payment. The administrator is appointed at the time of the application and is the one who receives the information about the virtual card.

  • Because the virtual card is associated with the company and not a person, an administrator must be appointed.
  • has access to the necessary card information in the Corporate Card app. This information is also sent by post.
  • For some purchases, an authentication is required. This is done in the Corporate Card app. The app can be downloaded from the App Store or Google Play.
What is strong customer authorisation?

In January 2021, strong customer authorisation was introduced when using cards for online shopping. This enhances security for card payments online and means that you’ll come across strong customer authorisation more often when you use your card for online shopping.
