How can I switch banks?

1. First you have to become a customer

There is no charge for becoming a customer and creating an account at DNB.

- Start by becoming a customer at DNB. If you’re already a customer, you don’t need to become one again.
- You can set up as many accounts as you like, free of charge.
- You’ll need your new account numbers when transferring your money to DNB.
- You must order a bank card after the account has been opened. Remember to check that the card works when you receive it.

Can I become a customer with BankID from another bank?

How do I move eFaktura (eInvoice) and AvtaleGiro?

You do not need to move eFaktura (eInvoice) as they are linked to your national identity number and follow you automatically.

Do you have AvtaleGiro payments lined up for the due date in your previous bank? Change the payment date for all of them to today’s date. When they are paid, you can delete all your AvtaleGiro agreements. The issuer will then send you an invoice for the next payment. When you pay this bill in the online bank in DNB, you will be asked to set up an AvtaleGiro. Answer yes to this and a new AvtaleGiro agreement will be set up.
