Send international payments easily from the online bank
When you need to make international payments, it’s important to enter the correct payment information. You need to have the recipient’s name and account number in the correct format, for example IBAN and also the BIC/SWIFT address for the country and bank you’re sending the money to.
If you’re missing payment information or are unsure whether or not the information is correct, you should contact the recipient or their bank.
IBAN stands for International Bank Account Number and is an international standard for account numbers.
BIC stands for Bank Identifier Code and is the code that identifies the bank. BIC is also called SWIFT and is required for payments to a number of countries, and always when using the IBAN.
BIC/SWIFTaddresses consist of 8 or 11 characters, for example DNB’s address is DNBANOKKXXX.
Please note that there are different prices for different countries you receive payments from and send payments to.
If you have incoming and outgoing payments in a fixed currency, you can reduce currency risk with a currency account. You can easily open the account in the corporate online bank.
Start a chat and write what you are wondering about, for example “what’s my IBAN?”
