Smiling girl outdoors enjoying simple everyday banking

Society is changing, and an increasing number of services are being digitised – including at DNB. But if you prefer to use services that are not digital, the way you might be used to, we offer that as well.

Below are some brief descriptions of services that do not require using the Internet or other digital tools. And if you want guidance or have questions, you can contact us on 23 02 10 50

Giro payment notice

If you have received a giro payment notice and this is to be credited to an account you have at DNB, you can send the giro payment notice to us. Before you send the giro payment notice, you must sign this and enter the account number you want the amount to go into.

Address for redemption of giro payment notices:

DNB Bank ASA, Giro, PO Box 1600 Sentrum 0021 Oslo

If this is a regular payment you are going to receive, we recommend that you contact the sender and provide your account number.

Future powers of attorney

A future power of attorney gives you the opportunity to decide who will safeguard your finances and your personal interests if you are not able to do this yourself in the future.

Future power of attorney is an alternative to guardianship. It is important that the authorisation is adapted to your situation and wishes, and that it complies with the requirements for content and design.

There is a lot of useful information about this on the website of the County Governor -Statsforvalterens. We recommend that you become familiar with this.

In order for the future authorisation to be valid for financial matters at DNB, it must be confirmed by the County Governor - “Statsforvalteren”.
